Stopped off at Mr Chips while in newark at lunchtime, what a great little find, although I only had chips and gravy I was shocked to see a bad teview on tje chips they where fantastic and reasonably prices £3.75 for angood size tray. Definitely be back.

First time here, had kebab, fish, chips and peas, as well as chicken wings. All the food was great tasting, the kebab was one of the best I have had in a long time. Highly recommend, and the owners are lovely friendly people

Fantastic all round, clean place and a great selection Living in the states I was so excited to have proper fish and chips for a long while It didn’t disappoint, the cod was flakey and succulent and the batter perfectly light and crispy The chips were fantastic and the peas a perfect side Highly recommended

Called in this evening as I was driving past at tea time and decided to give the chippy ago. Lovely crisp chips not greasy at all they were 10/10 chips for sure we had 4 meals and everyone said how nice their meal was! The chippy had a steady flow of people coming in to buy their tea/supper. I will definitely be marking this place for a return visit when I’m back in the area. Lovely owners /staff who enjoyed the through put of customers making a friendly chippy atmosphere. I review a lot of chip shops up and down the country the food from here is very good and well in the top ten places to get a chippy tea from.

This is the best fish in the county by a mile. I called in on Friday having not been past for over a year. Nothing has changed. The fish is beautiful. The chips are outstanding. The batter is crisp and light. This place puts other chippies to shame. If you live within 30 minutes of this chippy abandon where you go and make the journey, you wont regret it. Absolutely 5 star and wonderful staff. Thank you.
